Lack of Sleep Linked to Memory Problems

A recent sleep study shows that senior subjects who fell asleep faster had a better short-term memory, while those who had trouble nodding off suffered memory problems when tested this year. The study, conducted at NC State on African-American subjects aged 65 to 90, further suggests that addressing seniors’ sleep problems might help maintain their cognitive function.
