Sleep aids are becoming more and more prevalent in today’s worrisome economy.  Loss of sleep from the increased amounts of stress related to one’s financial positioning and job security has sparked a sales spike for sleeping aids, specifically pills.  Mostly unknown to the people who are taking the pills are the side effects and long-term damage that they are potentially causing to their bodies.

Every week, more and more announcements about layoffs and company downsizing are hitting the news stations.  Financial analysts repeatedly predict that the economy will continue to suffer throughout the year leaving more people unemployed and with less money to spend.  All of this tension linked to the economy has begun to develop into a health concern with millions of people losing delicate hours of sleep.
