Lack Of Sleep Linked To High Blood Pressure

A recent sleep study conducted at the Pennsylvania State University Medical School found that there was a connection between sleeping problems and high blood pressure.  Individuals who get fewer than five hours of sleep a night are more likely to suffer from hypertension.  Furthermore, lack of sleep is related to higher anxiety and stress levels, which are also linked to higher blood pressure.
