Speed Sleep and Brainwave Training

Brainwave Entrainment is a practice that aims to cause brainwaves to fall into step with a periodic stimulus having a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state. For example, Speed Sleep uses it to induce sleep. The synchronization depends upon a “frequency following” response, a naturally occurring phenomenon where the human brain has a tendency to change its dominant EEG frequency towards the frequency of a dominant external stimulus. Such a stimulus may be aural, as in the case of Speed Sleep with voice and music or else it can be visual, as with repetitive imagery such as videos of fractals or the classic spinning black and white spiral associated with hypnosis.

Entrainment is the most healthy way to guide your brain to sleep and help it stay there. The entrainment methods in Speed Sleep are designed to lead your brain progressively into slower and slower brainwaves as you sink deeper and deeper to sleep. From awake to profoundly asleep in minutes instead of hours. Unlike sleeping pills, entrainment helps you become healthier without any negative side effects. Also, once the brain learns the pattern it has a long lasting effect so you don’t need to listen to it forever.
