Proper sleep is particularly essential for the health of your immune system, because to the article, a research team at Stanford University has discovered that the peak of the immune system’s activity in the battle against invading bacteria occurs at night with the lowest point of activity going on during the daytime hours.  Accordingly, if you have suffer from sleep problems or sleep disorders, your body will not be able to fight off bacteria as effectively as possible.
